The High Desert Story

In 2012 I began my personal wellness journey (overcoming an eating disorder) which ultimately sparked my passion for creating experiences for others that help facilitate healing and growth within my community. This passion turned into the business that is Up & Co (or Prasada Rene LLC). Up & Co provides in-person wellness experiences for multi-family communities like yoga, pilates, meditation.
During the pandemic there was a great pause on physical and social interactions. During this time I found myself exploring vintage & thrift stores throughout the country (and online) and discovered so many special treasures that either our family wanted as our own, or we could see living on in someone else's possession.
I started re-selling some of the overflow on offer-up and facebook marketplace. I amassed a loyal following of folks who would routinely ask me to source special colored glasses for their weddings, bowls for their business, or simply just wanted to be a part of my community.
Personally, we found ourselves ordering less online from Amazon, clothing our daughter in bespoke baby clothes that were gently used, and furnishing our home with eclectic vibes from the last century. All of this caused less waste for us, and we knew it could do the same for anyone who bought from my store.
Iām looking forward to continue bringing these vintage finds to more folks in my local community, and to more people all over the country.

We find everything with a story. Colored drinking glasses, painted bowls, vintage Japanese pottery, vintage artwork and paintings, Native American tapestries and sand art, vintage brass figurines, vintage AZ Highways magazines and books as early as the 1920ās.
